So my car had not been started in about a week and I went outside to start it and it wouldn't start so I jumped the car and it started and I let it run for awhile and I came back outside and shut it off and thought things were fine and I went to start the car the next day and the same thing so I jumped it and it started and I was like "hmmm I wonder if the car will start back up if I shut it off" so I shut the car off and it wouldn't start back up, it was like the battery wasn't even connected.. So today I decided to work on my car to see what the problem is and I uninstalled my alternator and battery and took them and got them both tested and they were both fine and then I noticed that the 2 ground wires on the alternator were a little frayed so I cut them and redid them and I go and try to start the car back up and same thing, it was like the battery was completely dead.. One thing I thought was weird is the car wouldn't die until I pushed on the brake pedal, then it would lose all power like it was shorting out. So now I'm completely stumped as to what it could be.
