Car wont start (Clutch Pedal all the way down)

So I was driving out to head to work and the car starts up fine with no problems. I go out like I normally do approaching a gate that I have to wait for till it opens. Rolling to a stop I go from 1st gear to neutral(I didn't use the clutch this time for some reason) and the car stops.

But when I go to press the clutch to engage 1st gear, the clutch fly's all the way down to the floor. Not knowing why, I try to pick it back up and press it again. Same reaction. Car is completely unable to shift so I turn the car off. Was able to shift everywhere again but the clutch still has no pressure. So I try to start the car and it feels like its locked when it trys to turn over.

Any idea's?
 
Clutch master, or slave cylinder may be blown. Is there noticiable amount of fluid leaking from anywhere? It feels like its locked when you turn it over? Its in gear and the clutch wont disengage?(obviously)
 
It has fluids, and there are no fluid leaks.

Car actually isn't in gear because I was able to push it from where it was to a safe spot.

Slave cylinder was replaced not to long ago when I changed my old tranny a month and a half ago.
 
Is that a hard or expensive fix? Also would that cause the engine to not crank? (Feels like its locked up)

Sorry for asking so many questions, funds are low and I want to make sure I buy the right thing.
 
Most likely there is some air in the lines so try bleeding the clutch and see if the pedal comes back up... if there's alot of air in the lines, the car wont go into gear when the car is on...

However the problem with the car not wanting to star is weird.. if it feels like its stuck my guess would be something with the flywheel?
 
Does anyone know how the NSS works on these cars, honestly i'm not familiar with that. It could have to with the fact that becuase your clutch cannot dissengauge your Neutral Safety Switch will not allow your car to start.

Get someone to step on your clutch and see if the slave actuates, if it does not you definatly have hydrolic problems somewhere between the pedal and slave.
 
i would say you lost pressure some where i would check fluid followed by checking master and slave cyinder, check lines for leaks. and report back what you find.
 
When the seal in my slave cylinder blew the boot actually held the fluid. Once air was in the system it wouldn't pressurize enough to make the leak visible. I am genuinely confused why it feels like it's locked up when you try to start, but it wasn't in gear. Maybe your clutch fork broke and its wedged between the bell and the flywheel? LOL I don't know
 
If the master isn't acutating the slave then nothing would dis-enguage the clutch. NSS would not allow the car to start. That is my theory on what is going on. Did you check to see if the slave was working with someone pushing the clutch in?
 
That switch is on the pedal on a 1g, Im assuming the same on a 2g. That would mean that regardless of whether or not the clutch was engaged, with the pedal on the floor it should still turn over. The way I'm understanding is that the starter tries, but the engine seems locked? Or the starter just isn't working?
 
No that's the linkage go abit farther down there will be a little rubber boot and a peace of metal sticking out see if there is alot of play ect.

I know for sure it's not supposed to be like that. But it's weird as to why the engine won't start?
