Car wont keep memory

Ever since i've had my car the radio wont keep memory when I would turn off the car. I recently got done with my build and started running dsmlink, and any changes i would make would not save to the ecu also. Any suggestions?

There is something cutting your power when you shut the car off...Is your power directly wired to the ignition. Sounds like it is.

I agree with that, i could careless about the radio keeping memory its the ecu keeping memory that im worried about

I've never touched anything with the ignition

Yeah something is cutting your power. Check the wires from the ignition back to your battery. A previous owner must have done some crappy wiring...

Yea I could see that happening, when i bought it the radio antenna connector had been cut and last i remember i couldnt find the 12v constant for the radio

Theres a red wire and an orange wire for 1G's. 2G's I have no idea unless there the same..

Would that also keep my dsmlink from saving also if i didnt have that connected?
