Car wont Idle after safc2 install and CEL is on!

My car starts really hard and then idles for a couple of seconds and then dies and cel is on after it starts. I am pretty shure I wired it corectly exept the knock wire someone said to ground it so, I did to the frame. Mabey I didn't ground it rite I tapped the knock wire into pin 9 and other than that I followed the standard wire diagram and used soder on all conections. Someone said I might need to switch the afc settings to karman vortex but am not shure where in the settings to find this. I did not get any instructions with it. Please help!

Yes the setting needs to be on Karmen.

Put the car into ignition BUT DON'T START. Get to the options and car setup. And set it to Karman.

DSMs, use Karman Vortex type MAS' and therefore running on anything else will kill the car because the paramaters will be way off.
