car will not start with key

When trying to start the car it will not start but when I remote start it there are no problems but it at times dont wont to start than....would the be a starter issue? I have somewhat over ruling the starter being bad as it does turn over when using auto start.

Sounds like it's time to remove that remote starter kit and find out where it's wired wrong. Check the clutch lever lockout circuit.

I've seen about 100 ignitions go bad over the last year, no joke. There's only two things that this could really be. 1) your alarm has a starter kill feature and it's just not disengaging. 2) you have a bad ignition cylinder. Put the key to the on position and if you can reach use a piece of speaker wire to jump the two terminals on the starter. If the car cranks then it's your ignition cylinder or the wiring leading from the cylinder to the starter. Of course by this method it may also be the starter kill feature too. With most starter kill features there are two wires coming from the alarm. One wire goes to the starter side of the ignition wire, the other goes to the key side. The main wire gets cut in half. Usually this is done inside the car, so start by looking in your steering column or directly under the dash where the steering column goes in. See if you can find those two wires and for a moment run a jumper between where the main wire was cut. Then try to start it.
