So after two days of getting everything right to hook up my new fmic, I am coming from my moms house where I installed everything to my dads house (where I live) which are about 4 miles apart. In this install I hooked up a fmic where all of the piping came with it other than the j-pipe that I welded to custom fit. The intercooler I installed was the VrSpeed short route fmic that I did a group buy from this site. Other than the intercooler I installed a new short ram intake with the recirc nipple because my other didn't have one and I swapped my HKS SSQV and put in a greddy type rs. Note: The flange on the ic piping was not the exactly the same so I had to drill 2 new holes on it to fit the greddy which what I was supposed to do. Anyways, I get in my car and start it up and everything was fine. I put it in reverse out of the driveway, and up the road I went. I was checking to see if everything was all go so I stepped on it a bit to check out the boost and my new bov when all of the sudden my car spudded and started running funny. I tried to speed up and my engine was shaking and not running correctly. It would rev(I didn't try to rev the whole way because I didn't want to further hurt was was already done) but once I started revving the shaking just got worse. I got out and popped the hood and everything seemed connected alright so now I am lost. It is 1:35 in the morning here so I really couldn't take a good look at it. I did check however the MAF to make sure it was plugged in, the softness/hardness setting of my bov, and just tried to make sure everything was pugged in. Any suggestions pleaseee I would help a lot. I am lost!!!

Check all the plugs for spark and they all had them. After checking them all and putting them back in, when I try to start the motor now it sounds like it is trying to turn on but just will not other than when it was just turning over before. Keep throwing suggestions at me.

Could it be timing or any fuses. Can anyone direct me in the right direction to check timing and which fuses I should check and where?

was the cel light on when it was running it could have some stored trouble codes if the battery has not been unhooked

Not really familiar with what you are telling me. And to let you know, I never unhooked my battery when do all of this and I hear you are supposed to. Battery Somehow is very weak now just to let you know?

Ok got it now. How do I fix this? Well I have to get a new battery not. This one is no good now?

no you don't have to get a new batery, you just have to charge it...
as for the other problem
like it was stated before disc the fue feed on the fuel rail on pass. side
turn the key on (you don't have to start it) if fuel comes out your problem is
somwere else..
and for fuse just get a test light..test all the fuse/with the key on

some random things i been browsing around

weak or bad igniter
faulty coil pack
mabe outta time a little
mixed up fire order
bad cas=crank angle sensor/cam angle sensor
faulty IAC= idle air control
tps=throttle position sensor
plugs fouled

So after all the trouble with the FMIC install and not being able to start, I finally got it to run. Somehow it was the battery, which I do not understand because I jumped my car before and had plenty of voltage and turnover on my old battery and it still didn't turn on. Anyways, but the new battery on and it turned on. So it ran fine yesterday until last night I was driving and all of a sudden my check engine light came on and my car started running a little shaky. Not too bad though. So I went to autozone today and got it checked and the code was P0170.

Code: P0170

Here is what the receipt says:

The PCM has determined that during testing, the fuel compensation value for bank 1 exceeded the specified range. (Bank 1 identifies the location of cylinder #1, while bank 2 identifies the cylinders on the opposite bank)

Definition: Fuel trim bank one

Explanation: The power train control module uses the oxygen sensor to calculate the air/fuel ratio of the engine. The computer has recognized a rich or lean condition on one engine bank only.

Probable causes:
-If bank one and two codes set together suspect fuel pressure of MAF Sensor
-Oxygen sensor defective
-Ignition misfire-repair
-Fuel injector problem

What do you guys think with all I have done could be the probem?

Check items for P0170 are:
- volume air flow sensor output frequency
- injector
- fuel presure
- intake air leaks
- engine coolant temp sensor
- intake air temp sensor
- barometric presuure sensor
- O2 sensor
- exhaust manifold cracks

It feels like I might have a misfire to one of my cylinders. Is spark plugs and wires a possible problem?

I replaced all of the plugs and wires and they are all good, but still have cel. Not really sure how to check all that other stuff so i'm stumped.

Still haven't figured this problem out yet. I took it to my mechanic to check it out and he said that it was the air/fuel ratio. I'm looking at buying a SAFC II and AEM wideband to tune. Is this a probable cause to the check engine light?
