Ok i have tryed some things first thing i tryed was a new battery. No help

Next, I went to junk yard and grabbed 2 Power transmitters. No help

Next i looked up how to test the CAS First off let me say its a 4 prong plug in (i was reading and people said only the 1990 came with 4 prong) and it goes black, red, black, white i got and i got continuity with the Black, red wires none with any others. Turned key on and no power to red wire or any other. Plugged it in with key on and no power to any of them. So I'm thinking that i have something wrong with the plug in part of the CAS. The IGN fuse is fine. and have continuity to the fuse.

What should i try next..no spark still.

what exactly is it doing? cranking and just not firing? or just not cranking at all? if its not cranking at all it might be starter or alternator. (if your car wont hold a charge your alternator could be bad, take it down to your local parts store, often enough they check em for free, same with starters) get your alternator check first before you spend 100$ on a new batter when you don't need one.

If you've taken the CAS off recently, you could've inverted the shaft 180° by accident.
ECT sensor could be faulty, therefore giving you too little/much gas at startup.
MPI relay/fuse could be blown (unless that's what you mean by IGN fuse).
Gas tank empty? (<-- jokes)

What has happened recently? Did you just walk outside one day and the car wouldn't start or was there something preceding the no-start condition?

did you time it recently? the dizzy could be out of time because i had that problem with my 1g.

if you another is the it could be 180 out. which means the #1 piston is on exhaust stroke while the valves for the #1 piston, are on the intake, or vice versa.

check for spark, if you don't have any spark, check your connections to your dizzy,
if that still doesn't work, do a compression test.

check for a malfunctioning fuel pump, do this by turning the key to the on pisition but dont start the car, loosen the bolt that allows you to retard or advance the dizzy, you should here it squirt fuel in when you adjust it, make sure you put it back to normal, if you dont hear anything your fuel pump may be malfunctioning,

check for a poor electrical connection on fuel injectors

check the fuel pump fuse to see if its blown or has poor connection.

EDIT: i just realized you have the 2.0L which doesn't have a dizzy it has a coil pack, so i don't think much of what i told you will help at all, my bad.

CAS has never been off.
idk what ECT sensor is (still new to dsm)
MPI relay/fuse witch fuse box is that in? the on i was tlaking about was on the positive wire cable for the battery
i think i got gas its at the 1/2 mark but idk (jokes back)

Yes i parked the car one day (kinda low on gas) 2 days later bought 5 gallons dumped it in and tryed to start it and just cranked.

check under the dash with the small fuses, some Honda's have them there. i forget what its labeled and i cant check because both my eclipse and repair Manuel is at my buddy's shop. but it should be easy enough to to figure out.

ECT sensor is engine coolant temperature sensor. You can test it with a multimeter. It is often a culprit in no start conditions in cooler temperatures. Search the forums for test procedures.

MPI fuse is in the box on the positive battery, as you already know. I can't remember where the relay is but you said the fuse tested out okay, right?

You can try jumping the fuel pump manually. There's a connector on the firewall behind the battery. If you attach a lead from the connector to the positive terminal on the battery, the fuel pump will power and you will hear the pump whirring or fuel passing through the lines, at which point you know you're okay there. If you don't hear it, have someone open the gas tank and listen while you jump it. Sometimes they're quiet.

it cranks just fine. + no CEL. Does not fire. Doesnt even try to just cranking it.

I think I found the problem.

When you turn your key to the "on" position does the CEL come one and the stock boost gauge go to zero?

If it doesn't your ECU is toast my friend.

no spark then? bad coil pack? or bad connections to coil pack?, or it could be bad ECU. idk if the coil pack is powered like the ECU or its powered by the electrical system and the motor like a dizzy. if its the ECU ive seen em for not a bad price on Ebay and DSM Graveyard

All the dash lights come on like normal with no CEL im not sure what boost gauge does tbh ill go check. And yes no spark at all!

Go check that. I am willing to bet that is the problem. You might as well pull the ecu and open it up and smell it and take a photo to show us. I bet the caps leaked all over it.

You can open up the ECU to check it out if you want - it's pretty easy to get out. Once it's opened, make sure the capacitors are not leaking onto the board and/or it doesn't smell burnt which a lot of people associate with the smell of fish.

The coil pack is powered by the power transistor... a small box mounted beneath the coil pack on the back of the head. Kinda. Seek and you shall find. Make sure it's plugged in.

Here's some info on the MPI relay: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/293581-why-my-mpi-relay-not-working-right.html

i changed the power transistor already so thats not it. if it is the ECU how much is it gunna cost to fix. also can i do something to avoid this from happening again?

You can find a non eprom ecu for 50-100 dollars. Just send it out to get the caps replaced. Steve (thats his screen name) rebuilds ecus.

If you turn your key to the "On" position a CEL should come on for a few seconds, if this does not happen then there is something wrong with your ECU or your ECU is not getting power.

To find out if your ECU is bad, open it up, you will smell something like dead fish and probably see where it has been burned at. If not then try this, disconnect your battery, unplug your ECU (you should always disconnect your battery when unplugging the ECU), connect your battery, turn the key to the on position, and test pin #64 with a voltmeter and make sure your ECU is getting +12 volts of power. If not then something with your wiring or fuses are bad. If you get +12 volts, make a jumper wire, insert it into pin #64 and ground to to something, like the unpainted part on your center console, your CEL should now be on.

ECU Pins

That is a sure way of checking to see if your ECU is good or not...

Ok right near the ecu you will see a little black box. That's the MPI relay. If its toast you will get no power to the ECU so when you turn the key on the ecu is not booting thus no CEL. Take that relay box out and pull the plastic cover off. You will see 2 relays one MPI relay and one fuel pump relay. Then plug it back in with the cover off and see if the contacts on the MPI and fuel pump relay are closing. If not thats your problem if it is move on to the ECU.
