Car stalls at idle while hot

I few weeks ago after a morning of running errands my car suddenly stalled at a stop light. Every time I took my foot off the accelerator it would stall so I had to feather the gas to keep it running. The car is stock and had been running just fine up till that point. when i started it the next morning it ran perfectly fine until the engine got up to temperature when it started stalling during idle. When I had the time I tested the vacuum system for leaks, replaced spark plugs, checked the wires, adjusted the TPS, checked the stepper motor, injectors and anything else I could think of and It was all fine. Finally I noticed that the idle was very low , It was running about 7-800 rpm when COLD! I decided to adjust the base idle to ~750 rpm when HOT and it seems to have fixed the problem. I'm not sure how or why that got out of adjustment but apparently it did.

I had not seen this particular fix/issue on any similar threads so hopefully this will save someone else a bit of headache.

Hello, may I ask how you adjusted the base idle?

My eclipse has similar symptoms in where it wants to shut off because during the first few minutes of driving and after driving a few miles it goes away.

Any help would be great.

I think adjusting the idle might have just been a bandaid for a different problem. My gsx idles at that on cold start or hot start without problems. How did you adjust the base idle and are you still checking things?
