Car shut down won't start

Hello all. I have a 1995 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. I just got the head rebuilt one month ago. Last night I was on the freeway going 80mph. Then I push to 90mph then the car shut down and won't start back up. After the tow truck dropped off the car the battery was almost dead. What do you think it could be?

Check the alternator (belt and have the thing tested), and then I'd check the rest of the charging system.

Did you check if the timing belt is still on ok? Pull the upper TB cover and look.

Also did you check all of your intercooler piping?

Thanks for all the help. The intercooling system is good. The car wont turn over. Sounds like it's not getting fuel or spark. The battery is good, the belts are good. I couldn't get the alternator tested yet so im not sure of that yet.

Have you tested the starter? Check your spark plugs/wires as well. Make sure its all connected. Have you checked your gas gauge?

I found out what caused the problem. The crank sensor went bad again. That part cost 500.00. Where can I find one cheaper then that?
