ok ive been having problems with my fuel pressure well now my car wont run at all it will start rev up to about 2k and then die fuel pressure when i turn the key on is only 20psi, and when i start it the fuel pressure goes up to 40 but as soon as it dies fuel pressure drops to almost nothing, and my eclipse doesnt have a fpr the guy i got the car from took it off for some reason and put a vortech super fmu in its place, i dont have a clue as to what i need to do this is my first 420a eclipse ive alway drove a 240sx so any help would be great!

Check all your fuel stuff make sure your fuel pump is good, fuel filter isnt clogged. That should get you started with issues loosing fuel pressure. where is the fpr gauge located? Have you properly adjusted the fuel pressure with the regulator?

the gauge is on the fuel rail and there isnt a fpr there is a vortec super fmu where the fuel pressure regulator should be

I second the fuel filter idea, they are cheap enough to just replace.

From what your saying sounds like a lack of fuel so find out whats not supplying the fuel. A afpr would be nice to get too.

Ok I'm gonna get a fuel filter and a afpr and get rid of the vortech fmu, I already have a new wallbro 255 fuel pump coming

Ok so i put a new fuel pump and filter on it and it still isn't getting good fuel pressure and my wideband shows full lean when it idles.
