Car Not Starting!!!!???

Ok, On my 97 GST 5spd swap, I can;t get the car to start. It was running fine, tranny went out, replaced it and today I went to get gas and it was working fine until I turned it off at the gas pump. I tried to start it after pumping gas and nothing. Doesn't even try.

I'm thinking my starter but not sure. All my grounds are good and so are the fuses.

Any ideas???

Have you tried using the key?

See if someone can help you push start it and if you can get it moving like that.

!! Of coarse I used the key?? And I forgot to mention, We did get it to start by pushing it and popping the clutch..

Then yeah it might have been the starter just going out because I've had the same problem in my hatch. Just try that and if nothing them just post whats up.

use a jumper cable and jump it strait to solenoid is what i would do and see what happends. Also could be the starter is just stuck have you tried banging on it a bit?

Try tapping the starter with a hammer

I took the starter and gad it tested, and in the machine it made a nasty sound. So I ordered a new one. Will be here tomorrow.
