i was driving my 92 talon tonight and i went into my house and so i shut off my cvar and i came out not een 5 mins later and it would only turn over like a half of a crank and so i had a friend come over and jump it. and then it fired right up and so i turned on my parking lights and held the rpm's at 2,000 and after letting the car stay hooked up to the other car we unhooked it and then the dash lights slowly dimmed out and parking lights then the car died from 2,000 prms as i held it there.. any anwser's will b greatly apprecaited

Or just a tired battery that won't take a charge. A weak battery will get even weaker in cold weather. I'd check that before pulling an alternator.

ya thats what i am thinking and a few other friends also. because evrything was fine until we got all the winter storm weather and sub zero temps all at one time here in nd.. and yea its weired it happened all at 1 time tho.. but then again i was driving at night and had pretty much everything on in the car
