Car is leaking oil.....Need Help.

Ok....First off let me say i have a 1g Talon Tsi FWD Turbo'd, Ive had this car for some time now and did minor mods to it. Well to the point i guess...My car leaks oil, i know right whos doesnt these days. But my car leaks oil in a spot ive never seen it before, right under the Transaxle Case. I first noticed this leakage at a friends house when i moved my car to leave he said there was a Cookie size oil spot on his driveway so i got out and looked to see where it was leaking from and i saw it was a small drip from the transaxle case, no its not tranny fluid, its oil forsure. Has anyone had this kind of oil leak before? i personal thing i might have caused it by running 14PSI of boost all the time on my almost completely stock Tsi. please lmk if anyone has any ideas. thanks

Possibly your oil lines to your turbo? 17 years of wear may have taken its toll.

I have the same leak on my 99 gst....and know its not the turbo or the lines. Is yours is dripping off the shield that gets a couple screws to hold it on to the case? Thats where my leak is coming from and im having trouble finding why as well....

Sounds like rear seal to me. Take that cover off and look at the seal and see if that's were your leak is.

I know the Turbo Oil line is leaking, but that's not where the oil is coming from because i can see the oil turbo line and the leak is so small its barely leaking. the oil is like running down the Tran case onto the bottom of it and dripping like 1 drop an hour or something.

Sounds like rear seal to me. Take that cover off and look at the seal and see if thats were ## leak is.

We can't see it in email. Perhaps a picture. Of course, if you did that, you'd be looking at where the leak is.
