Same issues here. It does it reguardless how fast or what gear your in. Some more prone than others. When the rpms drop sometimes it bounces back very quick and others it bogs down and is in limbo for a split second. Another thing is when is it decides to drop the rpms or bog down, a quick tap of the gas brings it back up to normal. I'm leaning toward my IAC but I've heard a vacuum leak will cause this.
 
Any engine lights?

Since you're a N/A car; could be a MAP sensor, as well. Or it could be loosing the signal from the cam or crank sensor. Check those connectors out to make sure they are not oily, loose, or broken.
