Anit lock light on wile driving??

hey, my anti-lock light comes at high rpm or when im driving... while that happen my dash board light and head light gets brighter while driving. But when im at a stop or just parked in neutral the lights get dimmer and anitlock light is off.

Is this a sign of a bad alternator? My cousin told me i have a ground problem. also sometimes my brake light and battery light will come on while im driving as well.

There is a fault in the system. Wheel sensor probably.

But if the batt/brake lights come on too. You need to have the alt checked after you check the power cable, and fuse for it.

No that would be the alt. Check the cables and fuse for it.

If it is only your anti lock light then start trouble shooting the ABS, if it gets dimmer at a stop that is perfectly normal you just dont product the same volts idling as you do driving. If you notice the idle get rough and lights almost out or off at a stop then you need to check your alt/battery connections then either replace or repair the alt

Mine did the exact same thing right before the alternator went out on me.

Ok yes im starting to believe its the alternator as well, its the original alternator from 99 (hasnt been changed). I will get a new one this weekend.
