car dont want to idle after fmic install

I just installed a fmic on my car i tested the front mount for leaks and checked all my couplers/clamps (they are new) if you rev it up and let the idle come back down it wants to stall, and sometimes it does, the only thing i changed *besides the front mount is i put a knock of type s bov on it and its not recirculated???? and if it dont stall it will idle after a few seconds???

Sounds to me your have a bad boost leak , multiple boost leaks, and/or a vacuum leak. you need to boost leak test it and make sure it's all right. Eye balling it won't tell you if you are leaking

You gotta recirculate thats one big thing unless u have a gm maft which measures air after your BOV. Without it now your getting inaccurate air readings and it is confusing for your car. Try recirculating first and let us know how it goes.

yeah im gonna run up to the store and buy some crap to make a tester i think the bov might be leaking

but i plugged off the hole where the bov goes into the intake???

You still have to recirculate the bov. Deffenatly make a boost leak tester and do that.

Sure with speed density or a gm maf. Otherwise nope.

+1 ^^^You cannot have the car run right vented on a stock MAF.The sound isnt worth the crap idle,running rich between shifts,and the other headaches....

just bought a gm maf on ebay for a good deal ill ###### end up goin that route once i get my dsmlink

you dont need a dsmlink to run open atmosphere, if you just a gm mas and a maf translator your good to go
