Hey my car has a base tune with V3 ECMLink that was done by a reputable shop over a year ago. I just bought a used ETS FMIC kit and a 63MM NT Throttle Body. Is it safe to install this stuff and drive the car without tuning it? What if I lower the boost? I just want the car to be safe for a daily driver.
Will it be easy to compensate for these parts myself with ECMLink? I was a bit overwhelmed by the whole tuning thing but maybe since it already has a base tune, I would only have to compensate for the extra air from the FMIC and TB, right? From my basic understanding of this whole thing is that I would just have to add some fuel? Would I have to adjust timing? Would be simple enough to not have to pay someone?
I understand that I am able to up the boost from 16 to 22 psi after installing this FMIC, however I dont care about doing that right now. I just want to have the car drive safely daily.
Thanks guys
