I need a new car cover for my car (Stored outside) had a Wally World special and it only lasted a year so I'm looking for suggestions on something better.

Anyone?

There's one that is like 6 or 8 ply, thermal and microfiber inside, and I think it runs for about $120 but hey, it will last longer than 4 or 5 winter seasons if stored properly and it provides the best protection against our harsh Canadian winters ;)

Mine just survived a hurricane without one on haha. I picked mine up from Wally World as well for like 30$, sadly it has been mysteriously missing lately in the worst times.

Go to your local advanceautoparts. THey have a good thats water/snow tear resistence and Meldew resistence.

Here's an example my 79 grand Prix under the cover has been out in the rain for a month or so.

I have used the Tyvek covers by Budge for outside storage through the winter with reasonable success. A bit more costly than the gray poly ones, but they last longer.

The common issue I have had with many covers is if they are put on a wet car or get wet then freeze it is almost impossible to get the cover off with out damage to at least the cover till things warm back up.

Guys, sorry to hijack the thread but I want to buy a good car cover that will not damage the car by keeping the heat in...I live in Miami and the car sits in the sun when I'm not driving it. I used to have a cheap car cover a few years ago and it left marks and I think utimately damaged the paint. I repainted it since...

So what cover can be safely used in the HOT sun without any side effects to the paint?

Thanks!
