I recently picked up a 2g awd for a good price but have been having problems getting it running 100%. The car will idle fine but when you try and drive it as soon as you hit boost it bogs horribly and sometimes backfires. So far I have replaced the spark plugs (gapped at .30), changed the plug wires and a boost leak test. The boost leak test held around 12 psi before leaking from the throttle body seals and the 4th injector o-ring. I plan on fixing those leaks but the way the car is driving it doesn't seem that is the main issue. Anything else I should check?

Gonna need a little more info:

Does the car have a wide-band?
Do you have a tuning solution?
Does the car have stock, or bigger injectors?
Any check engine lights?

Are u running stock boost?
Definitely do that boost leak test at atleast 25psi.
Check your timing marks.
I'm gonna guess its a boost leak somewhere else on your car.

Stock boost, stock injectors, no cels. The problem may be the tps I did have to replace it when I first got the car. I didn't have a feeler gauge to adjust it correctly.

You dont need a feeler gauge for tps . Its 2 bolts you loosen and a ohm meter to check resistants.also check shaft play on turbo

I used an ohm meter and rotated it until it read .9 ohms at closed throttle but it only reads 4.5 ohms at open throttle the guide I used called for 5 ohms at open throttle. I could swap out the coil and power transistor pack with my other car but it does have strong spark on all 4 cylinders.

Okay I just had 2 cels pop up p0302 and p0325

couldnt he be over boosting? maybe he's getting way to much air. Is everything in your car re circulated?
are you getting enough fuel in the system to accommodate for the boost. maybe its the plug wires? Ecu Throwing any codes? timing could be off .

Fuel cut is diffrent then boging out his codes are showing that his knock sensor is bad and its pulling time.

I have a 97 ecu that I can swap it out with to see if it makes a differenc? Do I have to change the plug wires around when putting a 97 ecu in a 95?

Thanks for the suggestions guys it was the ecu I put the extra 97 ecu I had in it swapped the plug wires around and it solved my problem.
