Recently after putting on a different recirculation pipe my car has been bogging down and running rich under high boost (12-15psi). Ive done some searching and my best guess is a boost leak. But where are the common areas where the air would leak from? Could it be the BOV pipe? or wouldnt that also cause it to have idle problems, or similar cases to venting?
Thanks!

Use the boost leak tester write up from vfaq. There are lots of common spots for leaking. Some ideas include, bov, throttle body seals etc.

A boost leak is not exactly the same as venting the BOV. The BOV is only open during certain circumstances, whereas a boost leak could be always present depending on severity. Guessing at where a leak is and simply tightening that spot is inadequate, especially if you haven't done a BLT in a few weeks. Simply do it. Your car will thank you and you will be stunned at how much air you are losing.

If you are doing a BLT and are having trouble finding leaks, generously spray soapy water at connecting parts. They will create bubbles.

well logical thinking order here would be
A) recirculation pipe has been replaced
B) after pipe has been replaced possible boost leak
C) leak could more than likely be coming from the newly replaced pipe
:p i would check the pipe man
