1G Car bogs and dies on tip-in

ok so my car will idle fine but when i push on the gas pedle at all it boggs out and dies. i ask around about this ppl been tellin me that its fuel or tps, i just got a new fuel pump and that is good. i took the tps off and took that to autozone to get another the one they had for my year and car is not the one that i have. i look online and found one that looks simualer but that off a 94 and i have a 90 gsx 1g. all the other ones look the same but these two. maybe its off another car i dont know. does anyone know what that is and why my car just dies?

It could also be a bad maf sensor! If the maf is not reading, it wont know that the engine is getting more air when pressing the throttle and causeing it to shut off/ bog down... Have you made sure that the maf is pluged in?

If you really need a 90 TPS I would get one from Mitsu... the 90 TPS is different from the 91-94
