Can't reverse!! Linkage problem..

Okay I know the Transmission Linkage is the problem. I just dont know how to "correctly" fix it. Any help will be HIGHLY appertained!

Note: its an automatic.

And you expect us to play god and do surgery on your car over the interwebs? Take it to a mechanic.....

All we know is you think the linkage is making your reverse not work... Not even any pictures so really no one would even be able to say your right..

first off i dont have mechanic money, and how am i get to a mechanic if i dont have reverse?

Okay then just let the car sit there forever and facepalm yourself because no one on here is God, even though they have some skills that make them seem like gods no one can tell you how to fix this problem that you think you have just from you saying its broken and needs fixing...

And theres these mechanics that actually dont work out of a shop but and your implying that your car cannot be towed? Some things cost money, fixing cars is usually one of them... and they dont always follow your budget. If you think it just needs to be "fixed" then why not use the manual and re install it?

First off I have a hard time believing its the linkage if only reverse doesn't work,
2nd, without pictures no one can even make an educated guess if your right or not... We would need atleast some pictures to decide if everything looks correct or not..

Linkage Alignment
The automatic transmission linkage needs to be aligned properly with the transmission in order for the gear shift to properly change gears. When the gear shift cannot shift the gears into the correct position, the automatic transmission linkage must be adjusted in order to align properly to the corresponding gear. The linkage can become loose under normal operating conditions because of automobile vibration and gear shifting. The linkage needs to be re-adjusted when the gears become hard to shift. The automobile's owner must take the vehicle into a qualified transmission specialist to ensure the linkage is properly aligned.

I added some info I found it really looks like your going to need a transmission mechanic anyways.
