Im having problems with the electrical power and cant find the problem. my car dies after a while from charging the battery I checked the alternator and the battery but they're good. I jumped it with my focus with and it idles great but when i disconnect it from one of the cables it instantly turns off.

Should measure at least 14.0 volts on the battery while engine running. If not check if big cable terminals are clean and tight (both ends of each). Also make sure dash battery/alt light is working (when key just on, engine not running) because it supplies voltage to the alt's primary coil for it to work. And of course check fuses.

I saw a popped fuse and replaced it but the problem persists, and yes the dash lights turn on. Ill check the wire connections. Will update soon thanks guys!
