When my engine is completly cold the car runs and drives perfectly fine no problems at all. Then if I go somewere and turn it off I get this hot start like problem that doesn't go away no maddder how lon gi rev or drive the car. I've gotten new plugs wires ECU and the problem still exist. Every time it does this it seems as if its on 3 cylinders with it shaking and having absolutly no power. WHen this happens I also get a check engine light but I don't know how to pull codes to see whats the problem is an all of the auto parts stores around here don't scan for OBD1. My car has been doing this for about a month and it started out as just hot start and it would go away but know it just doesn't go away idk what it is

This in a way sounds similar to problems I was having. Found it to be the bottom part of the intake gasket. I just took some carb cleaner and started spraying around there until the car started to die. That is what I found mine to be. Hope it helps :thumb:

Yea it was the simplest problem taht only cost like 3 dollars to fix I put some injector cleaner in there and it hasn't done it since
