I've finally got around to ripping more things off the car to replace and I have not been able to figure out with this water pipe is. It has a small pinhole and I need it fixed asap. Could I just run a rubber line all the way down from the thermostat instead of the hard line?

Im not sure that I am following what your talking about but generally if it has a hard line then that what you need to replace it with. If you just need to band aid it and get it down to the auto parts store then I would say do it at your own risk but I would definitely replace it with the stock hose.
