for starters im not doing this just wondering. The other night me and a buddy of mine were bsing about converting fwd to awd for the 2g models and he asked me if you could use the 1g models for the parts you need to do it and i was completely stumped about it i figured that you couldnt do it so i told him no that you cant so all today it was bothering me that i didnt know the answer to this,so im just writing this thread to find out if you can do it or not because it really is bothering me but im almost 100% sure that you cant.So if anyone can clear this up for me i would be grateful

As far as i know about the only thing you could use off of a 1g is the differential and the shafts. Maybe the hubs, brakes, brake lines, bolts and wheels. The rest of the parts would probably have to be 2g. I am by no means an expert on this but that is what I have read about it. Maybe someone who has converted a 2g gst to awd could give you more info.
