Can this head be reused

Im in the process of rebuilding my head and didnt even notice this untell after i got it cleand. I would like to reuse it seeing as how there is no more money in my buget to alow for a new head. what do you guys think. I might have to go serching threw the junk yards.

i would get a new head,that can cause "hot spots" that lead to detonation
on hight boost cars.you can get a new head form a junk yard for 50bucks

Looks like scoreing from something bouncing around. While its off id stay clear of that and junk it. Better safe than sorry.

I would have to say no. But I would bring it to a machine shop and see what they say. As mentioned it will have hot spots the way it is. I doubt a machine shop can fix it though.

What could have caused this. Im guessing predet, ther was nuthing bouncing around in ther and its only like that in the two cylinders that the rings went bad in.

Looks more melted than dented, to me.
DSM heads are too cheap and plentiful to bother with it. Put it on a shelf and in five years, trade it for another car.
