I just bought a super afc II and some injectors but i cant decide if to follow the manual since it doesnt tell me the wire colors. if you guys can help i would aprreciated and also i would want to know whats the wire you cut on the mass airflow?

Don't bother with the knock wiring; the safcII's knock function does not work on our dsms. And DON'T do the blue wire mod. If you don't know what it is, then that a good thing.

I dont really care im just curious. The blue wire mod is for like a air/fuel gauge type thing right? I didnt do it with mine but y do u say not to do it??? :talon:

I got my super afc going i did all my research and installed. and guess what idid do the blue wire mod i still dont know if it works or not but i connect it. i thaught this wasnt going to improve my performance that much till i started boosting more than 15 psi and with my front mount installed. but i drove it and i seemed as a pretty nice feel. well i got my settings from another member and im going to start from their is one thing that i dont know what it is its like a little pinning noise but it does it at idle i dont knowe if its my lifters or that thing that happens that pinning or something like that if you guys know anything i would appreciated!

If you did the blue wire mod, then you DIDN'T do your research on installing the safc and what the blue wire mod is and why you shouldn't have installed it. :thumbdown It would have taken you 2 seconds to type "blue wire" into the search function, and then you would have seen the cut and paste article that I have put in 6 or 7 threads about why the blue wire mod is bad. Or asked the question in your own thread instead of just jumping in head first and doing it. Oh well, I guess you'll never know then... OMG

Each car is different, each setup is different. Someone else's settings will not be yours. It might is an O.K place to start, but I would get a logger on there as quick as possible so you can come up with your own settings.

Could be your engine knocking from doing the blue wire mod, or from using someone else's setting which could be too lean on your car.

SpoolnTsi - I'll PM you the link. I don't want to post it in this thread.
