Can injectors be too big?

Well, currently I have 550cc RC injectors.. I originally was looking at some 660cc injectors, then I saw 720, now 880 ? Are there any negatives when getting higher injectors? From the way I understand is, you just get bigger injectors when you wanna run more boost.. I have an AFC, id prolly never take advantage of 880cc injectors, BUT the option is there if I ever want to. Meaning, if I bought 880's, but never had the intention of running rediculous boost, I could still get a good ratio with the afc for 20 - 22 psi right? Maybe im misunderstood? Oh and are there any type of injectors to stay away from? I really know nothing when it comes to injectors ( if i forgot to mention, I already have a 255lph walbro ) -- but my goal is to push about 20 - 22 on pump gas.

once you get past 660(ie 720's, 880's. 1000), its starts getting harder to control your fuel with a afc. You have to rember all a afc does is trick you computer into thinkn less or more a/f is getting threw with only a certain percentage for change. Are you planning on running a diffrent turbo? You can push your 550's to handle 20-21psi
Any how if you go with bigger injectors in the 720's and up (in my opinion) your going to need to to get another form of fuel controling, like a keydriver chip, or dsmlink and a FPR. With the keydriver you could use your afc on bigger injectors w/ alittle better control.

Listen to him.....I had major problems tuning my safc with 780s until I mad some changes.....

ill probably go with 660cc now that i heard that, but I have an 18G turbo, and from what I was told, 550's would max out around 17psi... So that was the reason i wanted to upgrade =(

unless you are going to go with some serious fuel management(I.E. DSMlink) then 660s will be, for lack of a better term, perfect.

Anyone know what kind of 625/660/680s i should get, any brand specific ones, or will all of them get the job done? should i stray from EBAY injectors? seems like when i ask for background history they always seem shady and come up with an excuse that doesnt make sense.

I would stay away from ebay all togather. I like Slowboys 650's

well guy said hed refund me if flowcharts didnt come back okay... theyre 625cc hahn racecraft injectors.

I got fuelinjectorclinic.com 650's they are running great.

One thing to note when you install them though: check to see if the ones u buy have come with the o-rings that would seal it where it meets the head. I had no idea the stock ones (o-rings) needed to be removed for the install of my injectors which caused problems down the road.
