Can I swap an OEM muffler from a 1g GST to a 1g GSX?

I have a bone stock '91 GST and am about to buy an almost stock '90 GSX. The GSX has a custom muffler on it and I want to return it to stock. Is it possible to swap the two without any modding? Also, is it possible to swap the catalytic converters? Thanks.

No, I don't think that will work. They both have different hanger locations as well as the inlet being totally different. The fwd muffler has a long inlet pipe which runs over the rear suspension while the awd muffer enters closer to the muffler.

On the top is an awd style muffler and on the bottom is a fwd style muffler.

Yeah there way different won't work. The two cars have differing gas tanks which is the reason they are different

Are the catalytic converters swapable? Are any of the exhaust components swapable or are they completely different?

From the downpipe to the muffler is all different as far as I know. Not 100% sure on the converter, but all the rest of it is for sure different.
