Hey guys, I have a question. If I have a uicp, with a hks bov, and a GM 3" maf, can I use that setup WITHOUT A TRANSLATOR if I keep the oem maf connected? Would having the GM maf on but not "functioning" interfere with anything? I'm asking because I may have a ssqv in a few days (already have the uicp laying around), but am waiting to get my ecu+ in a few weeks. Thanx for any tips!:thumb:

You could, but it's not gonna do you any good for venting the BOV, if that's what you're asking. As long as the stock MAS is in there metering air, venting the BOV will cause problems.

Oh alright thats all i needed to know. I am restricted to 11psi on my leaky 2g bov and since I have the uicp flanged for the ssqv i just wanted to know so that I could turn up my boost to 15 on my t-25. Thanx!

Keep the Injen intake, keep the stock 2G MAS connected to the connector, install the GM MAF in the upper intercooler pipe but don't connect it to anything and don't vent your BOV. Once you get the ECUPlus disconnect and take out the 2G MAS, hook up ECU+ to the GM MAF and get another intake for the EVOIII 16G turbo from www.dejonpowerhouse.com

Extremely accurate. :thumb:

You also shouldn't need to "turn up" the boost when you upgrade your BOV. Your turbo car will naturally hold about 15-16 psi of boost just switching the BOV. The stock 2G leaks above 12psi but your car will run 15psi no prob. I would reccomend putting in a boost gauge just to be sure!!!!

I recently got a mbc and turned my boost back DOWN from around 14psi due to the leaky bov. So if I install the bov and pipes ill be sure to keep it around 15psi. Thanx for the help guys!
