hey,
Can i just run my stock down pipe will that hurt anything??? untill i get piping put on???!!!???

you can, but personally I would expect boost creep and UNBEARABLE loudness. you can get away with dealing with the latter, but the former may or may not be avoidable.

just unbolt that sucker and see if you like it, and if the local police do too

also be aware that only on the FWDs you need to rig up something to support the rear of the down pipe, since AWDs have exhaust hangers on the down pipe, us FWD guys use the cat/testpipe for the exhaust hanger. click here for a visual representation of each. And as already noted it will be loud, I think the FWDs are louder than AWD open downpipe due to the 2 greater bends in our downpipe. But like he said try it out. Dont forget, you car will no longer be concidered "enviromentally sound" IE you are purposly bypassing a emmision control device and they can issue LARGE fines for such behavor. Happy roaring.

Ahaha Yup it is LOUD!
i ended up getin it off about 3:00 am last night and i drove it around 3;30 ahaha,
i still can't get rid of it freaking spiking to 30 in third gear?
think i can find a two and half inch down pipe at a local shop?

I run straight downpipe and its not too unbearably loud, its quieter than my 96 GS and has a rumble sound, more musclely not buzzing like most exhausts. Nice performance gains too. I'm not wanting to go to a full exhaust but i know im gonna have to when I get a new downpipe because THEN it will be loud but the stock exhaust now is too restrictive to be very loud. Just try it it cant hurt, if it's too loud for ya put just the cat on and if its still too loud i dont know what to tell ya, I guess get some earplugs LOL :p

how can a T25 hit 30PSI? doubtfull. I disconnected the wastegate on my BT28 and could only muster 26 out of it.
