i drive a 93 plymouth laser rs and i blew the motor, i found a new motor but it is a six bolt and mine is a seven bolt. i know it won,t bolt to the transmission but i have the tranny from the six bolt too. if i install that will it work?

P.S. I need an answer by early friday morning so if you could answer soon i'd appriciate it.

thanks.

Good news for you...you can do this very easy. All you need is the 6 bolt tranny. The 6 bolt engine is much better because it has alot less crankwalk...at least that's what the rumor is... Me and my DSM buddy have changed a few out..just need the tranny. Hope this helps.

come on man do some searchin on this i really hate to be a jerk about this but this is a very common thing to do with DSM's its almost like putting a fart can on a civic..

Seriously. You are not even going from a 1g to a 2g so it should be hella easy for you. Keep this in mind when you read the writeups because the 2g cars are different than yours.

be careful changing those trannies...the shifter lever arms may be a different length.
