Can i do anything with this (1g head)

1st gen head.It has 2 blown valves and no cams.OTher than that it should be in good shape.He wants 50 bucks, would i be better off building this thing or buying one thats finished and known to work.

Sounds like a good deal. Make sure the block mating surface of the head isnt warped or the head all together isnt seized. Replace the valve stem seals and all basic gaskets before installing that head as well.

Also make sure its not milled down past spec and there are no cracks if you can.
