Could you? Yes. Is it a good idea? No.

The money spent on piping to do so would probably almost outweigh the cost of a replacement.

Heat soak, more chance of detonation (knock). You should be able to get a stock SMIC for less than $50.

The intake air not being cooled as it should, causing detenation, and possible damage to the internals of the motor. Spend the money and do it right. Or spend 10X as much to fix the bandaid later when it breaks something.
