2G Can I charge my battery while I tune?

Using ECMlink v3. It’s my first time ever tuning and I’m reading & watching videos as I’m connected to the car and try to figure this stuff out. I’m having a problem where after some time the battery is dieing on me and I have to change it out which is a hassle.
Can I hook up a 12A charger to my battery while I’m tuning?

Yes you can, its best to use a trickle charger but you can use a low cycle charger and be fine

I have always left my trickle charger on and never had a problem with my battery.
