Hey, my cam seals are leaking, and i will be doing the repair in a week, but i wanted to know if it is possible installing cam seals without removing the timing belt? thanks...

also, what about crank seal? I might also just change that for maintenance, does the timing belt need to be removed for the crank seal also? thanks.... any advice or tips on doing the cam seals are appreciated...

Yes you do have to remove the timing belt. You have to remove the cam gears to get to the seals so the belt must come off. Same with the crank seal, the crank pulley and gear have to come off to replace the seal behind it.

nice link... you think its faster to do it that way then to remove the timing belt? do you mean timing belt tool as in the tensioner tool?

Yes the long screw thing. I dont have the part number off hand, but for me that took about 2hours from start to finish, and i didnt have to deal with taking off timing cover and asll that junk.
