Can Anyone Tell Me about this Turbo?

It says Garrett on the housing, but the guy says it a turbonetics.
I can tell he has no idea about turbos....cause I asked him if it has any shaft play, and he says it doesnt come with anything else like lines.
He's local, and im gonna go check it out tomarrow. He wants 500 for the mani and turbo.

Also, anyone know if this will work with my sbr fmic?

The manifold is made by Turbonetics but can't help you on the turbo.

It might be a turbonetics turbo. Cause turbonetics uses Garrett For their turbos. Just like stated above its a Turbonetics manifold, it has the turbonetics symbol on it.

To answer the other question, I don't think that your FMIC will work with that outlet. I'm not so hot at geometry, but the outlet isn't going to face down. I believe your piping is for a downward facing outlet. Maybe that bend in the outlet could be cut?

I saw it today....it freaking huge.
It has such low low shaft play, possibly even none.
If the blade sits on oil, it should have very small movement, correct?

I'm going to buy it tomarrow.
So what size injectors should I get, 750? I dont really race with this car that often, and use it as my daily driver, with 114k miles.

I'm kinda thinking this is over kill, but oh well.

Not really. The reason I don't race is because there are no more racers around here. I don't know what happened....

I wouldn't buy it without knowing what size it is...it could turn out to be too laggy. Injectors will depend on the turbo but keep in mind you cannot control injectors larger than 660s with an afc so you will need a chipped eprom ecu or dsmlink.

Yeah 660's can handle more than 400+whp. So you probaly dont need 750's.
