Can anyone give me some info on this FPR?

I bought my tsi and it came with a few extra parts including an aftermarket adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I searched yahoo, ebay, the forums, and google for a fpr that looked similar and no luck. I would imagine that if it were a "good" fpr it would have a name on it. Only i.d. is a 4 digit code on the bottom flange. Has anyone seen something similar? And if I installed this would it be okay to use? Oh by the way, I have an inline fuel pressure guage teed in right after the filter. To adjust the pressure..loosen spring=higher psi and vice versa? Reason for install is a just purchased a walbro 255 and its coming in the mail, if i need to lower the pressure it would be nice to know if this thing is reliable.

update: found out what it is after finding instructions for the product in a large binder that came with the car. It is a B&M CommandFlo FPR

Those are junk. Get a fuelab fpr.

yea i was just reading a thread on them. I dont want to make anything worse by installing it. Even though I have a walbro 255 coming in the mail and braided line already installed will my stock regulator be fine for now?
