I know my ISC Motor is bad, resistance 1 - 2 - 2 -3 is 32 while 4 -5 5 - 6 is shot... no read but my reason for this question is specially when it is cold (the car) and I hit the gas and let off quick it wants to stall out. Any ideas?

If its bad unplug it, i dont know the reading you got on the coils but if they read between certain ohms it can blow the drivers in the ecu, need proof, look at my build thread

How does the car run if it is unplugged? Better unplugged if bad until replacing or what?

Def better unplugged if you know it is bad, if its bad its not working so its going to work the same as unplugged but its better than paying 175 bucks to have the ecu repaired if it blows the drivers in the ecu

It wont idle worth a crap without it but theres ways to tune that out, with dsmlink or with the throttle plate stop screw

I unplugged it, gonna see how it is tomorrow. Doing the same as it was before.. hit the throttle when cold and just let off fast it wants to die out. But also it runs rough cold. (Guessing could be ISC related too)

My idle is the same without it plugged in, 730 - 750 in drive and above that in park (cold or hot)

I can't imagine it's fun having a Auto without a working ISC. The black plastic ISC can be had for aroung $80 new and cheaper at the junkyard.

Once you have a good one again you'll need to set your BISS again so that the car idles correctly and doesn't stall in drive.

Oh wow that must be awful with an auto, for the time being id dry bumping the idle up to 900 with it in drive so id doesnt stall out everytime you stop, im just assuming thats a problem, if not...lucky

Im not stalling out, only if when cold i hit the gas and let off fast it does it, plugged / unplugged.

That makes sense, try 2 footing it to keep it running when that happens, at advance auto they have mitsubishi remanufactured ones for 78 dollars and have a year warranty

I usually won't even try actually driving until its warmed up anyways, income tax should be here soon so imma buy a new one once i have the money.

Just throwing my 2 cents in for anybody else that reads this.. I thought my throttle cable was tight.. but it wasn't by very very little... so i do it when the cars running so when I am pulling it tighter I don't over tighten it to where it will cause the throttle plate to always be open.. and holy difference is all I can say the hole 3 centimeter adjustment I made.. car pulls hard again even with a unplugged ISC LOL.
