can a 1g torque coverter fit in a 2g

my local auto parts store keeps ordering the wrong torque converter finally i got the transmission number which is f4a33 and they finally got 1 for me it looks a abit different some1 told me its a 1g but it's the same transmission # so can it work ### get back to me
