My car won’t boost past 8 psi it gets to 8psi then stays there steady no boost leaks or vacuum leaks

I also took my actuator arm off and moved the wastegate and it moved freely but it acts like the wastegate is getting stuck open

I have a Hallman mbc hooked up turned all the way down it doesn’t matter if I turn it up

You could either have faulty wastegate, actuator or incorrect wastegate preload. Check preload and if it wont work check that actuator is working properly. if this does not help take manifold off and check for any psychical damage in wastegate flapper itself. Is car boosting later than it should be? This would indicate incorrect preload or damaged flapper or manifold seals blowing by alot.

If Watergate actuator ever failed you should get infinite boost. Try these steps. Take the arm off. Wire the waste gate shut. Drive the car. Do NOT go WOT. just. Quick stab and see where boost goes. If it shoots above 8 you've got something wrong in the actuatir/control. If it went to 8 and feels faster than before you've got a problem with the boost gauge. Are the mods recent? Did it used to boost well before? What has changed? Do you have the boost controller hooked up correctly? Show us. You can rule out both the hard parts and the control in 10 minutes.

The mods are not recent the 16g was installed about 2 weeks ago which was the most recent one, I was driving it and it suddenly stopped going past 8psi, my ic piping blew off the same day it stopped going past 8 psi (my fault),it used to boost perfectly to 14 psi which is what I had it tuned for,the Mbc is hooked up correctly I’ll show u when I get out of bed.
I’m probably gonna remove the mbc and run wastegate pressure to elininate that as an issue next
