how do I no if my car has cams? and if it has cams would it lope while idling? why would my car lope while idling?tank could my timing be off but the cam gears teeth are lined right up could it be because the crankshaft pulley be off timing? thanks

i think all of our cars have cams

the crankshaft pulley will not affect timing.

The car will have a slight lope like it has cams if some of you vac lines are off.

Not mine. Well... at least not right now. The block is about 10ft in front of the car on the ground, the head is on the workbench, and the cams are a foot away from that, so technically, my car does not have cams.

What exactly are you wanting to know? If they are aftermarket? The only way you're going to find that out is by pulling them and checking for part numbers from the manufacturer. Good luck on that one.
