My car is lowered on tein springs. There is camber on rear. I plan on fixing it with the stm rear camber kit STM: REAR CAMBER KIT 2G DSM (95-99) (this one) but when I'm driving straight and hit a puddle or hit a bump the rear will wiggle side to side and kinda scares the shit out of me when I'm going fast or its raining and sometimes after doing it I feel like the rear is pulling me to one side for a minute. Could this be caused by the camber or is it something more? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Seems to me that the toe is out, as well as some uneven camber left to right. Did you install these springs without having the alignment checked and or adjusted afterwards? Odds are the camber is possibly out of the range of the factory adjustment, hence the camber kit, however, depending how low you are (Im not sure how far you can go on a 2G) now, you may be able to get the alignment to spec without the camber kit. Perhaps someone more familiar with 2G suspension geometry can chime in here, though I definitely suspect the rear toe being all goofed up as the real culprit, especially if the car feels unstable under braking and during the other events youve described. Definitely get it checked right away!!

Have you gotten an alignment since the install of the springs? If not, I'm sure your specs are all out, including toe which could cause the stated feelings. It will also cause tire wear.

Lol every single "lowered my car" posts I've seen has had this type of issue cause no body wants to pay for alignment LOL

Its called bump steer. Caused by toe changing unequally as it travels through suspension stroke. Have it aligned and if necessary use camber kits to make sure your specs left to right are close. If there is too much of a difference from left to right it can cause this as well. If thatdoesnt fix the prob then its possible that you are twwo low.

I also heard that about the bushing could be shot but I'm hoping the alignment will fix it. Should I get front and rear aligned or do I only need the rear aligned? It doesn't look like the front has any camber

I call bushings. You'd be surprised what blown out bushings will do to daily driving. First things first, get an alignment. When the car is in the air, see if the technician will let you get under and examine your bushings on the rear. If he wont let you, see if you could bother him to take a quick look for himself and see what he thinks about the condition of the bushings.
