Cam questions

A buddy of mine has a set of 272's but said there n/a cams, I thought when u got in to the after market cams there were no more n/a , turbo cams.
If so can i run them in my 93 gsx i think my head is toast she blows smoke when i start her after setting for a while but goes away when i drive, Then when i let her idle she starts smoking again. but no knocks. thats a whole other topic thouigh but yeah the cams any advice guys.

If they are for a 4g63 then no issues. If they are from a 420a then I don't believe they fit at all.

Yes they will fit if the 272s are from the 2.0 4g63 motor. Do compression test on your engine

Leak down test would be a better choice as it allows you to determine where you would be loosing compression rather than just letting you know your compression is low or normal.

Right guysd thanx a bunch yeah there 4g63 272's.
I'll do a leak down tomorrow i hope its just a bad turbo making me smoke and not a bad valve stem or seal once again thanx every one.
