So I was wondering, would GSC S1 cams be a good choice to run with my FP 68hta? They say they are a 268 combo. The car will mainly see normal to spirited driving on the regular but not daily. Might stop at the strip twice a year for a few passes and may see some auto x. Any advice or info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Anyone?

I am sure that is a great cam for that turbo. But in all reality any small sized cam would perform well.

Considering the 264/264 combo is awesome with a small 16g, and 272's are almost over kill (going off HKS cam spec's), The S1 cams sound like a great choice. Compliment them (S1's) with FP's beehive spring and lightweight retainer set, and you've got a well rounded combo on your hands..:thumb:

This is exactly what I am running in my new build. Amazing cams, great idle, huge mid range. I went from stock to these so it was a huge improvement.
GSC S1 are great cams at a good price. they are 268/268

264s respond very well and with almost no noticable low end torque loss they are perfect.

Thanks everyone. I've been doing alot of research and thus far the s1's seem to fit the bill. The other choice I had in mind would have been the Kelford 264's. I'm going to continue with a bit more research but i'm pretty sure I'll go with the GSC S1's. Again, thanks everyone.
