Cam Angle Sensor Problems

Hey guys... Ive searched for this but not really found the info I needed. I have a 6bolt swap in my vehicle with a 1g cas and I unbolted it last weekend because I couldnt get my car to start which turned out to be an unplugged temp sensor. Go figure. But anyways now my CAS is off. My car starts and idles but when I touch the gas it hesitates and starts missing really bad. I know my wire order is correct so I just need some info on how to get my CAS back in time or whatever you would call it? Mechanics around me know nothing about dsm's. Help would be appreciated

you need to time it with a timing light.

The CAS could potentially be installed 180 degrees out. Did you put it back on the same way you took it off? Does it provide both cam and crank signals?

I never took it off I just unscrewed the bolts and turned it....sooooo ya. Could that cause it to miss if its far advanced or retarded

anyone?
