IMO, dont get clear corners. to common and everyday. do ones like this. but redturboeclipse has one of the hottest looking cars on this forum. he sets a great example, especially when you see what he started with. :thumb:

Velo: great ride man! :thumb:
green machine: yea im still debating on the corners...i think itd look hella clean if they were clear tho...theres no way im going w/ anything but stock tail lights tho, i just havent seen a (street legal) set that can beat the stock ones

Some real nice looking cars. Black is awesome when clean and polished. I find it stays that way for around 5 minutes. :) Here in Jersey all it takes is some dude pumping your gas, while leaning on the rear fender or touching the spoiler, It makes me want to get out and smack them.

But as far as the clear corners go, I like them. I put amber LED's in mine because on my projecters I put Sylvania Silverstars in for the 1157 bulbs (turn signal). Just trying to keep it legal and not attract any unwanted attention. Cops can really be a pain in the ass. Not sure if I'm going to keep it that way.

ya I had blue bulbs in my corners for a while untill a nice sheirff said I wasn't allowed to. I think I'm going to get yellow lights for the all front bulbs, the 3400k xenons. Wish I had the loot to get some HID's retro-fitted, maybe later.

the only two things that imop don't look good on a black car are clear sidemarker lights, especially the clear clear ones, and carbon fiber hoods.

the clear ones contrast too much and make the front of the car look "pinched".
If you were going to do them, use niteshades or something to tone them down.

Carbon hoods just look dirty to me against black, maybe because they aren't grey or black but brown when seen against black... they look great on any other color though.

just my opinion which no ever seems to agree with!

I have to agree with attack eagle on this one. I prefer the amber bumper lamps instead of the clear. But if you do decide to go clear, try buying the RC car tint spray and give it a try. 2 bucks won't hurt, I've done this before and it comes our real nice if you give it a light coat (darker if you prefer). The only problem is that you have to re-paint it atleast once a month. Ive also done this with my reverse lights. Its a real nice mod for not much money.

just my opinion.. have fun

thanks for the comments guys..

and yes if u guys see wat i started with.. you'll see how much my car has change.. i think ill put a pic of it in my gallery to show people that my car just didnt come like that..

also as for the clear/clear corners not looking good on black cars.. i disagree.. i have on my car.. the clear/clear corners.. and they DO look good if u have rims with polished lip.. why? because the housing of the clear/clear corners are chrome.. and go nicely with the chrome like polished lip of your rims.. so if u have black car with black rims and polished lip.. clear/clear corners will look good because it will match with the lip.. also it matches up with the chrome inner part of the 97-99 headlights.. but if u have no polished lip.. then yes it will contrast too much.. or u just dislike the clear corners of course..
