My dash padding is pulling away from the support structure. Does anyone know how to re-attach dash panel padding? I have tried Goop, and, Rubber cement both do not work. Has anyone done anything that works?

i used a 2 part epoxy to fix that problem when the padding was starting to seperate on my passenger side air bag.... just peeled off the loose glue then applied the epoxy on both parts let it sit for a few mins then put it together and used spring clamps and paint stirrers on the edges to evenly distribute the pressure and left them on for a day and its been fixed for over a year and it hasnt seperated again :talon:

I've got to pretty much 2nd the last poster. I have to get mine flat again so that I can start making my fiberglass molds, and the way I did it on the drivers-side knee protector is very similar. I used strips of 2" wide 1/8" thick balsa wood and some woodworking clamps (spaced about every 5"). I was pretty careful to gauge how much I was compressing the foam. Instead of two-part epoxy I used a uerethane (sp??) glue called "shoe goo" that worked extremely well. The key is to just squeeze the entire tube onto a piece of scrap wood and use disposable acid brushes with the bristles cut to about 1/4" long and just work it in there (before clamping of course). The knee panel looks just about perfect now, and is ready for the molding process so I can make my foam-cored fiberglass replacements now :)

i did similar, except i used a heat gun first; to kinda get the molding to sit down better...
