A dual one? Depending on the weather where you live it may not be such a great idea LOL

Also sounds like a whole lot of work for not much gain, and you'd be crowding the engine bay even more

It came to me in a dream really, you know where the option to have fog lights go? I had a dream I had a CAI filter in each hole with a merely housing to keep dirt and rain out of there, and grill in the front of it so too much dirt or water flies threw the front of it.

And thanks, I was thinking aboutgetting it more original parts and painting it white, and labeling it the Oreo talon or the ghost edition LOL

thats sounds weird! but good luck!

they make these..

I don't see it making much sense to waste time and money on something like this. The one pictured above looks like an ls1 which really doesn't need it but the way the intake is makes it easy to mount something like that.

When i was N/A and had a CAI, i figured it wasnt even cold air entering the intake manifold since the air heats up when passing through the upper intake pipe(due to the intake getting heatsoaked from the engine). not too sure about how much of a change in temperature it made...
But what i did on my N/A was route the intake pipe down and under the intake manifold in the back of the engine on the firewall side.
i brought it down as low as i could get it so it would get some fresh air under the car.
Of course i did this with ease because my battery is in the trunk and i removed the cruise control black box that was mounted under the intake mani.
Not too sure of how efficient it was. i didnt leave it on as i went turbo.

You need to do some reading man. You wont need an intercooler until you go turbo

Have you thought about this idea? The engine can only suck in as much air as the throttle body allows. If you increase the size of that, then you will probably see a difference. But then why not just buy a bigger filter? It wouldnt really do anything but make your car look rice. And for the intercooler idea, That cools down the heat coming from a turbo and which you dont have so that cant be possible unless you buy a turbo.

idk, someone told me to add in intercooler to my car, that might be better right?
How is cooling the air entering the engine with air that is exactly the same temperature going to be beneficial?

Seriously if you want to start modding your car it would be much better to sell it and start with a gsx or gst. I learned a long time ago it is much easier to start with the correct platform rather than try to make a slow car fast.

^^^Listen to this guy. When I started getting into modding cars I had a Saturn coupe I was going to turbo-charge LOL. I even bought a bunch of parts including a 14b and starion intercooler. Not worth it and way too much trouble.

There actually exists a "front mount" looking intake.
I seen it when I was watching Horsepower TV and they put it in a Civic, yes I know, but it mounts just like a front mount, a giant core.

I have seen one in person...and oh man was it stupid. I suppose in theory it could cool down the air a bit, but holy rice.

i only seen those made for a civic have not seen one for anything else

I had that same idea many years ago when I had my n/t. If you were to do it would
Be better to have a box filter and have the tubes where the air goes directly into them.. It would be something like a ram air type set up. The box is to catch things like bugs and water if that were an issue.
